Willie Mae Underhill, of Morristown, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17th, 2018 with her loving family at her side. She was 88 years old. Willie was born in Jason, North Carolina on June 5th, 1930 to Roland Taylor & Alvenia Taylor. She graduated from Greene County Training High School in Snow Hill, N.C. Willie had moved to Morristown, N.J. in October of 1970.
Her favorite interests include cooking, decorating her apartment, love of gospel music and singing. She had sung in choirs for many years. She was a very loving mother to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very protective of her children. Willie was an assistant to the driver for the Morris School District, transporting handicap children, before she retired. Prior to that she worked at Allied Chemical Company in Florham Park.
She was the devoted mother of Betty Taylor, Shirley Lee, Donald Underhill, Dennis Underhill, and Maurice Underhill; cherished grandmother of Pamela Underhill, Maurihya Sterling, Dennis Maurice Underhill, and Anthony Sterling. Also survived by two dearest great-grandchildren, Jackauri Wiley and Jackhir Wiley.
