Yolande Jean, a long-time resident of Union, passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family on November 5, 2024. She was 66.
Born in Gonaives, Haiti, she lived in Union for many years, immigrating to the United States in1992. She worked as a CNA for many years at several different nursing homes.
Yolande was a Christian and member of House of Grace Church in Roselle. She loved gardening and cooking. Her unwavering love shaped the foundation of her family and will be deeply missed.
She was the beloved wife of Renault Jean. She was the loving mother of Jeanna Jean, Kinson Jean, Fredo Jean, Jojo Jean, Tanselyne Jean and Christelle Jean Angulo.
