Adeline Rodriguez, 54, of Boonton, NJ, passed away on October 19, 2023. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, 70 Whippany Rd. in Whippany will be held on Thursday, October 26th at 11am. Interment is private.
Born and raised in Newark where she graduated from Barringer High School in 1987, Adeline had also lived in Irvington and Nutley before moving to Boonton in 2008. She received her associate degree in education from William Paterson College. Adeline worked as a teacher’s assistant in Irvington for many years. She loved nature and visiting parks with her nieces. She will be fondly remembered as a devoted daughter and caregiver who loved spending time with her family.
Adeline was the beloved daughter of Andrea Cruz. She is also survived by her dearest siblings, Eneida Rodriguez, Idalia Rodriguez and Ernesto Rodriguez as well as many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations in Adeline’s memory may be made to the Eleventh-Hour Rescue, P.O. Box 218 Rockaway, NJ 07866.
