Anatole Lasiy, 69, of Cedar Knolls, New Jersey passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, May 12, 2021.
Anatole was born October 6, 1951 in Jersey City. NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lew and Anna (Wertyporoch) Lasiy.
He was a graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in History and BA in Accounting. He spent over 20 years in the accounting and finance sectors of pharmaceutical and other industries. Anatole was a long-time member of St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, Newark, NJ. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with his adored family and friends.
Anatole was survived by his wife, Roksolana (Sorochko) Lasiy and was the cherished father of daughter, Marta Delgado and husband Marcus Delgado and son, Andrew Lasiy and wife Makenzie. In addition he is survived by his granddaughter, Norah Lasiy.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am on Monday, May 17, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 719 Sanford Ave, Newark, NJ 07106. An interment will follow at Gate of Heaven, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church.
