Audrey (Mirocco) Carnevale, 88, of Cedar Knolls, NJ, formerly of Jersey City, NJ, died peacefully in her sleep on December 13, 2022, at Morristown Hospital. Born January 30, 1934, in Jersey City, NJ, she is predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Mary(Dinan) Mirocco of Jersey City, NJ, brother John Mirocco of Jersey City, NJ and her late husband of 58 years, Francis Carnevale of Hoboken, NJ.

Audrey worked at Saint Peter’s University in the development office from 1980 until her retirement in 1999. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially during the summer at the Shore. Everyone looked forward to her coming down and having endless conversations as she knew something about every topic and had a great sense of humor. She loved her family and loved her friends, and she made her friends family. As her peers predeceased her, she became the Mom and Grandma figure to so many.

She is survived by her three daughters, Cathy Carnevale of Jersey City, Joanne (Robert) Kelly of Palm Harbor, Fl and Noreen (Robert) Monks of Cedar Knolls, NJ. Loving grandchildren, Robert Kelly of Palm Harbor, Fl, Sean(Katie) Kelly of Palm Harbor, Fl, Megan Kelly of Marmora, NJ, Michael Monks of Cedar Knolls, NJ, Madison Monks of Cedar Knolls, NJ, her pride and joy great-granddaughter Maeve Kelly and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
