Aurora Giusti

Aurora Giusti, (nee Alfonso), passed away peacefully on February 16, 2023. Early on, when her children were of school age she started working at St. James Grammar school in the cafeteria. She went on to became the floor manager for a children’s dress shop, Netties. Aurora was also a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker’s Union.

Aurora loved bingo, crocheting, reading and trips to Atlantic City. Family was a passion of hers and spent a lot of time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than doing things with her family.

Aurora is pre-deceased by her husband, Nicholas Giusti and siblings, Jack Alfonso, Tony Alfonso, Lola Tiejido, Mercedes Cinello, Mary Dias, and Carmela Alfonso. She is survived by her children Brenda Sieira and her partner Rob Rowand, Karen Saracino and her husband Bob, Toni Telle and her husband John. Grandchildren Jason Sieira and his wife Cris, Samantha Despotovich, Gina Conner and her husband Mason, and Nick Telle. Great-grand children Mikela and Rafael Sieira and Luca and Leo Despotovich. She is also survived by her sister, Josephine Baretto.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 20, 2023 at Bradley Haeberle and Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue Union, NJ from 4pm to 7pm. On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30am before proceeding to Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington for 11am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations’ in Aurora’s name can be made to Alzheimer’s Association | Donate to Fight Alzheimer’s Disease
