Carley Hilton De Oliveira, 60, of Roselle, NJ, passed away on July 3, 2022.  Visiting hours at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 4 to 8pm.  A funeral prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 8th at 11am.  Interment is private.  Friday’s service can be viewed via livestream on Carley’s obituary page at www.bradleyfuneralhomes.com.

Born in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, the son of Carlos and Hercilia (Rocha) Oliveira, Carley moved to Belem Brazil at the age of seven.  He graduated high school in Brazil and at the age of 21 returned to New Jersey where he resided ever since.  Carley was the owner and operator of C.H.O. Overhead Door Company.  He was a soccer fanatic and enjoyed playing chess.  Carley had a zest for life, loved to make people laugh and was always the life of the party.  He will be fondly remembered for his love for his wife, son and stepdaughter and how he would always open his home to family and friends.

Carley was the beloved husband of Sonia.  He was the loving father of Ryan and stepdaughter Luna Barrros (Daniel).  He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Heloisa, Ricardo, Sofia and Davi, his dear siblings, Carla Dos Santos (Silvio), Carly De Oliveira (Jose Figueroa), Carol De Oliveira, Carlin De Oliveira, Cary De Oliveira, Isabel Bello (Justo), his beloved nieces and nephew, Aluizio Barbosa, Vinicius Barbosa, Patrick De Almeida, Manuela De Almeida, Brenda Dos Santos, Roxanne Reyes, Christine Bello, and Melissa Braxton as well as many loving great nieces and nephews.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Carley’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or Autism Speaks.
