Darrell Charles Nitti, 61, of New Providence passed away on June 8, 2023. A funeral prayer service will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son, 345 Main St. in Chatham on Tuesday, June 13th at 10am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.
Born in Summit, NJ, the son of Daniel and Ruth (Peter) Nitti, Darrell was raised in New Providence where he graduated from high school in 1979. He earned his bachelors degree in English from Montclair State University and later his master’s degree in industrial human recourses from Rutgers. Darrell worked for many years for the Bank of New York Mellon Pershing Division, in Jersey City. He enjoyed old movies, following the stock market, gardening and taking long walks.
Darrell was the beloved husband of 20 years to Diane. He was the loving father of David and Charley. He is also survived by his brother Randy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Darrell’s memory may be made to American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 7023 Merrifield, VA 22116.
