Dolores Diane Gruener, 80, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Dolores was born on February 7, 1942, in Irvington, NJ, but was a resident of Union all her life. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert and Florence (née Scherf) Sacks. Dolores was a parishioner and graduate of St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church in Union. She enjoyed taking trips to the casinos and spending time at the Jersey shore.
Dolores was predeceased by her husband, Walter, of 42 years in 2009, and her sister, Marlene Mulvihill in 2019. She is survived by her children Kenneth and Kelly. She was a beloved aunt to Craig Mulvihill and wife Janice, Jill Beyer and husband Jim and Sharon Mulvihill and partner Donna.
