~~Emma Aletta Foerster Horne, age 84, died August 19, 2016 in Princeton, NJ. She was a well-known, beloved needlepoint teacher and artist, based out of her home in Berkeley Heights, and then Convent Station. She was renowned for her culinary skills and entertaining, her hearty laughter, joie de vivre, and her love of her family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jim; she is survived by many friends and family, including her son Steve and his wife Sarah, along with Steve’s sons Greg and Kevin; son Bill, his wife Becky and their children Sarah and David; her brother, Fred Foerster and his wife Judy; loving nieces and nephew and their families; as well as Shelby, her faithful feline companion. A celebration of Emma’s life will be held at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Ave in Summit on Saturday, September 24th at 11:00am. No flowers, please. Instead, make donation to the American Heart Association, or the charity of your choice in her memory.
