Erin Mary LaSpada, 39, of Springfield passed away suddenly on July 2, 2020. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. James the Apostle Church, 41 S. Springfield Ave. in Springfield, NJ, on Thursday, July 9th at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Springfield Ave. in Springfield on Thursday, July 9th from 10-11:30am prior to the mass.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, the daughter of Robert and Susan (Walsh) Donnelly, Erin was a graduate of North Hunterdon High School and Somerset County Vo-Tech. In the past, she worked as a medical assistant. Erin enjoyed painting, movies and 1980’s music and loved animals. She was a friend to all and loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Erin was the beloved daughter of Robert Donnelly and his wife Linda, and Susan (Walsh) Johnston and her husband Gary. She is also survived by her grandfather John Walsh, step siblings, Ellen Kearns, Christopher Jorda, Michael Jorda and Brandon and Kelsey Johnston as well as many loving aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations in Erin’s memory may be made to South Orange Elks #1154 Special Children’s Committee, 220 Prospect St., So. Orange, NJ 07079
