Frances M. Schrumpf, 93, a lifelong resident of Millburn passed away on April 19, 2024. Born in Summit, the daughter of John and Audrey (Mangold) Wilson, she graduated from Millburn High School in 1948. Frances attended college briefly and later worked at several local businesses including Woolworths, a consignment shop, a Dermatologist, and Prudential Insurance. She loved all outdoor activities, especially hiking, backpacking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing. One of her favorite places was Baxter State Park in Maine.
Frances was the beloved wife of 49 years to the late Lewis Schrumpf. She was the loving mother of Cindy Tully and her husband Christopher and the late Christopher L. Schrumpf and his late wife Elma. She is also survived by her cherished grandson Christopher M. Schrumpf and his wife Mia Kiritsis, great grandson Jaiden Williams and her dear friend since the age of two, Gloria MacCoy.
