Frank “Frankie” Garilis, 56, of Union, New Jersey passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Morristown Medical Center.
Frank was born on June 22, 1965 in Newark, New Jersey. He was the son of the late Frank Garilis and Joyce Zelenenki.
He was a 1983 graduate of Union High School. In his earlier years, he was an avid softball player and played in various leagues. Frankie loved the New York Yankees and baseball.
Frank was predeceased by his father, Frank and sister, Patricia Santoro. He is survived by his mother, Joyce Zelenenki and husband Mike, sister, Kathy Appel and husband Michael and was the cherished uncle of Kristine, John and Gina Santoro and Michael and Daniel Appel. He was a great son, friend, uncle and brother and will be missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union, NJ 07083 with a prayer service at 7:30 pm in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
