Guido H. Castro, 69, of Dover, NJ, passed peacefully on June 19, 2021. Born and raised in Valparaiso, Chile, Guido lived in Dover, NJ for many years. He was a bus driver for Lakeland Bus Company in Dover, NJ, and worked as a welder before then. Guido loved soccer, Santiago Wonders were his favorite team. He also enjoyed traveling, the beach, and watching tennis. Guido is survived by his son, Paul (Paolo) and his wife Jennifer; stepson, Justin and his wife Amy; and his four grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas, Téa & Alex. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 12 pm to 2 pm with a Prayer Service at 2pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. Whippany, NJ. The Prayer Service will be livestreamed for those that are unable to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations in Guido’s name may be made to childrens.org, with whom Guido sponsored a child in Chile for many years.
