Joan Simon, 80, of Westfield passed away at the Father Hudson House in Elizabeth on June 11th. Visitation at Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave, Union will be on Monday, June 17th from 2-4 and 7-9pm with a Prayer Service at 3:30pm. Interment is private.
Born and raised in Newark, Joan moved to Westfield in 1968. She had worked for many years as a secretary with Tenney Engineering in Union.
Joan was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Herbert. She was the loving mother of Chip and his wife Marilyn. Also surviving are her grandson Trent, sister, Shirley Augenstein and her husband Ralph as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Her sister Claire Speziale died previously.
