John Seifert, 55, passed away on November 14, 2021. John was born on July 21, 1966.
John grew up in Scotch Plains then moved to Mountainside and went to Jonathan Dayton high school in Springfield, NJ, where he graduated in 1984.
He went on to be an accomplished field technician in many areas of construction where he served as a site foreman and project manager.
His greatest joy was the birth of his only daughter Ashley Gail Seifert.
He was a NY Giants Football fan and loved watching the games with family and friends, and always knew how to make everyone laugh.
He is survived by his daughter Ashley Gail Seifert, his mom Gail Jewell, his sister Denise Seifert, and brother’s Dan and Herby Seifert. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Vanessa Seifert, Danielle Doss, Jessica Parks, Andre Parks, and Thomas Doss.
John was preceded in death by his father Herbert Seifert.
Memorial visiting hours at Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield will be held on Monday, November 22nd from 5 to 8pm. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave. in Springfield on Tuesday, November 23, at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
