Kae A. Smith

Kae A. Smith, 95 of Chatham passed away peacefully on June 14. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, Kae was born on September 21,1920, grew up in West Orange and moved to Chatham in 1950. She remained a Chatham resident until her death.

Earlier in life, she worked for the former Bell Telephone company and later for several local retail establishments. Known to all for her deep love and concern for family and friends, she is remembered for never failing to acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries and graduations. She also had a love of sports, particularly the Yankees, New York Giants, tennis and her favorite golfers Phil Michelson and Rory McIlroy.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, Frank, who passed away in 1992. She is survived by three sons, Patrick of Henderson, NV, Scott of Chatham and Robert of Westerly, RI. She also leaves two granddaughters, Morgan and Madison, and a brother, Patrick Dolan of Lawrenceville.

A viewing will be held at William A. Bradley & Son funeral home, 345 Main Street, Chatham on Monday, June 20 from 9:00 – 10:00 am, followed by a 10:30 mass at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Chatham.
