Laura Green, of Pennsylvania, formerly of Summit, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She was 93.
Born and raised in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Caroline (Carrie) and Emil Olanie. She graduated from high school in Newark as well. She worked for Bell Telephone for many years, eventually working for the Summit Board of Education in food services, her last location being Lincoln Elementary School in Summit, NJ.
Laura enjoyed crossword puzzles, cooking, the Hallmark Channel, old movies and old songs, including gospel. She possessed a sense of humor and was quick-witted. She was loving, caring, loyal, trustworthy, honest and respectful of others. She was very devoted to her family and professed faith in God as a member of Central Presbyterian Church in Summit.
She was the devoted wife to the late Jack E. Green. She was the loving mother of Jack Green and his wife Karen of Pennsylvania and the cherished grandmother of Bridgett Green of Arizona, Daniel Green of Florida and Christopher Green of Virginia.
