~~Lester A. Daniell, 98, of Chatham passed away on March 11, 2016. A Funeral Service will be held at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St in Chatham on Tuesday, March 15th at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Lyndhurst. Friends are invited to visit on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Born and raised in Jersey City, Lester lived in Chatham for 43 years. He had served in the U.S. Army during WWII stationed in New Guinea and the Philippines as a Cryptographic Technician. An accountant, Lester worked for BASF Corp. in Clifton for 42 years. A published poet and longtime member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Morristown, he was also a member of the New Jersey Jazz Society.
Lester was the beloved husband of 64 years to the late Elsie (nee Reinemann). He was the loving father of William and his wife Myra. He is also survived by his cherished grandson Heath Daniell and his wife Cara, and his beautiful great grandchildren Macy and Hudson.
