Lucy T. Arminio

Lucy T. Arminio, 96, formerly of Union, NJ, passed away on April 22, 2024.  A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Church, 85 Washington Ave. in Chatham on Monday, April 29th at 10am.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Watchung.  Visiting hours at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham are on Sunday, April 28th from 3 to 7pm.

Born and raised in Newark, the daughter of Costantino and Marion (Masucci) Celano, Lucy was a 1945 graduate of West Side High School.  She had also lived in East Orange then Newark again before moving to Union in 1957.  Most recently, Lucy had resided in Hillsborough.  In her early years, she worked as a secretary before leaving the workforce to raise her family.  Family was everything to Lucy.  She will be fondly remembered for her devotion to her family and her church.

Lucy was the beloved wife of 66 years to the late Anthony Arminio. She was the loving mother of Constance Juban (Ronald), Joseph Arminio (Diane), and Anthony Arminio (Bryn).  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Ron Juban, Jr. (Marilyn), Crystal Garrity (Chaz), Melody Conn (Ed). Nicholas Arminio (Anna), Alyssa Arminio, Daniel Arminio (Alexandra), Joseph Arminio, Jr. (Jennifer), the late Michael Arminio, and Christopher Arminio (Corinne), great grandchildren, Sarah, Tyler, Rosie, Ryann, Jessica, Joe, Anthony, Niko, Michael, Jr., and Benjamin.  She is predeceased by her dear sister, Marion Martino.
