Ward, Marjory Groel, 89, of Short Hills, NJ, died at home on Monday, August 15. Born in Orange, NJ and raised in West Orange, NJ, she attended Beard School in Orange, NJ and graduated from Smith College in 1954. Marjory was predeceased by her husband, James, and her brother, Berdine. She is survived by her daughter, Meredith of New York, NY; her son, Stuart of Short Hills, NJ; her son, Nicholas, of Barrington, RI, and three grandchildren.
