Mark Pidgeon, 65, of Union, NJ, passed away on March 7, 2022. Funeral services are private. Arrangements are by Bradley, Haeberle and Barth Funeral Home.
Born in Morristown, NJ, the son of Paul and Florence (Adomunas) Pidgeon, Mark was raised in Martinsville and Plainfield and graduated from Plainfield High School in 1974. He had also lived in Elizabeth before moving to Union in 1989. In 1980 Mark received his Associates Degree from Union College and his Nursing Degree from Elizabeth General School of Nursing. He began his career as a staff RN at Elizabeth General Hospital then as Nursing Unit Coordinator at Union County Jail. He later was a clinical coordinator at Union Hospital prior to starting Pidgeon Allergy Testing. In earlier years, Mark coached soccer. He enjoyed family get togethers, playing poker, horse racing and football. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity, work ethic and his sense of humor.
Mark was the beloved husband of Susan Hammock. He was the loving father of Kevan, Thomas (fiancé Adriana) and Cate. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter Briana, his siblings Maureen Ferraro, and Mitchell, his Godmother Anne Baronas as well as many loving nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his brothers Matthew and Michael.
