Mary Ann Zentz, 79, of Springfield NJ, passed away on April 12, 2024. Visiting hours at Bradley, Smith & Smith funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. in Springfield will be held on Friday, April 19th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., when a Catholic Prayer service will begin. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth.
Born in Jersey City and raised in Jersey City and Springfield, the daughter of Angelina Conticchio and Michael Rizzo, MaryAnn became a beautician in her teens and spent over 40 years doing that before retiring in the early 2000’s. MaryAnn was a roller skater in her younger years and also enjoyed bowling and crocheting.
MaryAnn was the beloved wife of 52 years to the late Donald, who passed away last month. She was the loving mother of Michele Zentz and her partner Timothy Besbris, and Robert Zentz. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Kaya Zentz Demir, Cebera Zentz Demir, Antaya Zentz Demir, Sheryl Dempsey and Henry Zentz; her great-grandchildren, Malachi Dempsey and Conall Dempsey; and her brother, Michael Rizzo.
