Nancy and Bill were both charter members of the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township, which she served as Elder, Deacon, Historian, and long time member of the chancel and handbell choirs. Nancy served as the chair of the congregation’s 50th anniversary, coordinating a year-long celebration of the ministry of the church that culminated in a worship service of remembering in November 2009. Nancy was active in the Chatham Historical Society, the Republican club, Senior Services of the Chathams, CHIC investment club, AARP, and the Chatham Woman’s Club, among other organizations.
