Patricia Phelps, age 83, died peacefully at
Overlook hospital on April 24, 2014 after a long illness that kept her bedridden
for most of the past year.
A Chatham resident for 40 years Pat worked as the
executive assistant to the Research Partner at White Weld & Company, a Wall Street
Investment company for many years. She was also a licensed Real Estate representative.
Pat loved to travel and visited virtually every country in Europe and many in the Pacific
with her husband.
An avid painter, Pat attended The Parsons School of Design and the
Fashion Institute of Technology. She enjoyed antiques and loved her time working at Christies
In Manhattan.
Pat leaves her devoted husband Jim, of 58 years, a daughter Diane Forier of Chatham,
A son Glenn of Chatham, and two granddaughters Lauren and Caroline Forier.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd, Chatham, on Monday, May 5th at 9:30am. Interment is private. Visiting hours at Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 3454 Main St, Chatham will be held on Friday, May 2nd from 5 to 8pm.
