Richard Allen Kelley passed away at the age of 78 on May 17, 2023. Rich is survived by his wife, Karin, his daughter, Kristin, and his son in-law, Nick. Rich was born at Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. He grew up in Chicago Heights, Illinois and later moved to Berkeley Heights, New Jersey where he graduated from Governor Livingston High School and later studied engineering at Rutgers University. He served in the United States Navy Reserves from 1968 to 1972. He later moved to Springfield, New Jersey in 1972 and he lived there for the rest of his life. Rich was a dedicated Sales Executive at Unique Photo for 29 years. He loved fishing, boating, photography, gardening, and animals – especially his dogs. But his greatest love was his family. The family will be holding a memorial service in the near future. In lieu of flowers, Rich’s family is requesting that donations be made to the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) in his name.
