Robert V. Blum, 85, of Short Hills, NJ, passed peacefully on April 1, 2022. Born in Lindenhurst, NY. Bob has lived in Short Hills, NJ for many years. He was an altar server for 26 years at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, NJ. He worked for Verizon as an advertising representative until his retirement in 1992. He was the recipient of many awards including the distinguished sales award while working at Verizon. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Rose Farinella Blum, his sister-in-law, Marie Boscia and her husband Richard and his cousins, Joseph and Lydia Reilly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, NJ. Interment St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
