Stanley Jacobs, 88, of Union, passed away on April 3, 2013. Born and raised in Newark, Stanley lived in Union for over 49 years. He was a Tool & Die Maker for Gibson Associates in Cranford, NJ. Stanley was an avid Yankees fan. He also had a passion for gardening, cultivating over 100 tomato plants a year which were enjoyed by his friends and neighbors.
Predeceased by his brother, Mel Jacobs, Stanley is survived by his wife Charlotte Jacobs (nee Ott), daughter Linda Kuserk and her husband Gregory, grandsons Colin and Jake Kuserk, niece Florence Higgins and nephew Richard Jacobs.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2013 from 5pm -8pm at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home 1100 Pine Ave., Union. A service will be held on Saturday, April 6th at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Springfield Emanuel United Methodist Church, 40 Church Mall, Springfield, NJ 07081.
