Stavroula “Stella” Watkinson, 74, of Short Hills, NJ, passed away on January 15, 2024. A funeral service will be held at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, Whippany, NJ on Friday, January 19th at 11am. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. Visiting hours will be from 10 to 11am prior to the service.
Born in Newark, the daughter of Nicholas and Helen (Kajouras) Spiroulias, Stella was raised in Springfield where she graduated from Jonathan Dayton High School in 1965. She had lived in Short Hills for over 30 years. A longtime secretary at Foster Wheeler in Livingston, Stella loved travel, especially her trip to Africa.
Stella was the beloved sister of Adrian Decicco and her husband Dominick. She is also survived by her nephew Vincent Decicco and his wife Lisa and their children, Joseph and Giuliana and her brother-in-law, Don Cardinal. She is predeceased by her sister, Demetra Cardinal. In lieu of flowers, donations in Stella’s memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
