William S. Keating died peacefully on April 3, 2021. Born on January 10, 1936 to John and Marguerite Keating, Bill attended Xavier High School, Georgetown University, and Columbia Law School. He worked for several decades as Associate General Counsel at the Interpublic Group and before that for the New York law firm Kelley Drye. A lifetime New Yorker, he loved the opera, travel, bridge, and summers in Southampton. He was also a long-time member of the University Club and the Southampton Club. His service to the community included sitting on the Board of Goodwill Industries and volunteering at Doulas to Accompany and Comfort, the latter of which was the subject of a front-page New York Times article (nyti.ms/3mCEfq5). He was a devoted friend and family member and will be much missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his brother Joe Keating and his niece and nephews Christine (Cricket), Ted, and Peter Keating.
