Zinaida Trumpf, 94, of Whippany passed away at Pine Acres Nursing Home in Madison on September 5th. A Funeral Service will be held at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd., Whippany on Saturday, September 8th at 11:00am. Interment is private. Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Friday from 6-9pm.


Born in Haskell, NJ and raised in Kearny, Mrs. Trumpf had resided in Whippany for 58 years. A Bridge Life Master, she directed Duplicate Bridge Tournaments at the Morristown YMCA and West Essex Green. Mrs. Trumpf was an active volunteer having taught beaded flower making at the Hanover Township Recreational Department and also delivering Meals-on-Wheels for Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was an avid gardener, and loved cooking, sewing, and knitting.


Mrs. Trumpf was the beloved wife of 71 years to William. She was the loving mother of Cheryl Lamers and her husband Jack. She is also survived by her daughter in law, Debbie Trumpf, her grandchildren, April and Lt. Colonel Brian Tribus, Tracy Trumpf, William Trumpf and Tara, Jaclyn and John Standridge, as well as her great grandchildren, Chelsea, Cody, Emily, Jordan, Ryan, and McKenna. She is predeceased by her son, Christopher, and her grandson, Michael. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Trumpf’s memory may be made to either The American Cancer Society or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
